This study aimed to analyze the impact of strategic leadership practices, represented by the dimensions of strategic orientation, human capital development, maintaining organizational culture, and emphasizing ethical practices, on building a smart organization through its dimensions of environmental understanding, collective intelligence building, goal achievement, and resource mobilization at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. The findings revealed a high overall level of importance for both strategic leadership practices and smart organization building. The study also demonstrated a statistically significant impact of the dimensions of strategic leadership practices on building a smart organization at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Jordan. In light of these findings, the study recommended the continued support of strategic orientation through the development of accurate performance indicators to measure the extent to which the Ministry’s strategic vision is achieved in both the medium and long term.
